On Wednesday, April 29, 2020 Assembly Member Miguel Santiago partnered with Little Tokyo Service Center and Keiro to deliver subsidized meals to seniors and low-income residents in Little Tokyo. Assembly Member Santiago helped package the meals and made deliveries to Casa Heiwa, an affordable housing complex at the heart of Little Tokyo.
Meals were delivered to residents at Skid Row Housing Trust in partnership with the East LA YMCA and LA Food Bank.
