Given the recent earthquakes affecting the Inland Empire and surrounding areas, I invite you to attend an informational hearing on local evacuation plans, in the City of Ontario. This free event is open to everyone in the community and will involve panelists from State and local government.
Topics that will be discussed at the hearing will be:
- State and County responses to an earthquake emergency
- City evacuation plans
- Obstacles and challenges in developing and implementing plans
- How the State and counties can better assist cities
