Remember Change Your Clock, Change Your Battery & Check Smoke Alarm

-

Fall Back Time ChangeIt's time to "fall back" and turn our clocks one hour back to Pacific Standard Time at 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 6.

Also, this is a good time to ensure your smoke alarms are working and the batteries are up-to-date; and then check on the ones in the home of a parent, grandparent, or older neighbor. The conditions in California of dry wind and drought means we have seen more than our share of home fires and wildfires.

Lastly, confirm the age of the alarm too. The sensing technology wears out after ten years. An out of date alarm cannot safeguard your home and family against fires.
