Assemblymember Freddie Rodriguez (D-Pomona) delivered hundreds of toys to children and charitable organizations today just in time for Christmas. Toys were donated by local residents and businesses during Assemblymember Rodriguez’ 1st Annual Holiday Toy Drive.
“I want to do whatever I can to help bring a smile to a child’s face for the holidays,” said Rodriguez. “I am extremely grateful for everyone who donated toys and made this giveaway possible.”
Rodriguez gave donated toys to 107 children from 54 families throughout the 52nd Assembly District. Toys were also donated to the Ralph Welch Park Community Center in Pomona and to the Junior Foundation Charities Toy Drive which benefits children battling cancer in the Inland Empire.
Rodriguez represents the 52nd Assembly District which includes the cities of Chino, Montclair, Ontario, Pomona and portions of unincorporated Fontana.
