(SACRAMENTO) Assemblymember Freddie Rodriguez issued the following statement in response to Governor Jerry Brown’s proposed 2014-2015 budget.
“Strong budget reserves are prudent and responsible to build a strong economic foundation for our state. One of the benefits of working with a recovering economy is that we have the opportunity to make strategic investments in our shared priorities. I am looking forward to working with my colleagues to craft a budget that is not only fiscally responsible, but also invests in job creation, education, health care, and public safety.
