In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Assemblymember Freddie Rodriguez hosted his 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Turkey giveaway in Chino on Tuesday, November 25th. Over 170 turkeys and fixings for a full Thanksgiving meal were given away to local families and organizations benefiting needy families throughout the 52nd Assembly District. The event was made possible by generous donations by the Fontana Water Company, Food 4 Less, Ralphs and Superior Grocers.
“I am honored to be able to help local charitable organizations and families in need put a warm meal on their tables during this holiday season,” said Rodriguez. “I am thankful to everyone who helped to make this event a success by donating their time and resources to a worthy cause. The holiday season can put a financial burden on many local families and it is important that we come together as a community to help our neighbors.”
