Assemblymember Freddie Rodriguez (D-Pomona) provided hundreds of toys to local children and charitable organizations last Saturday just in time for Christmas. Rodriguez’ 2nd Annual Holiday Toy Drive was made possible from donations by local residents and businesses, American Medical Response, Cole Schaefer Ambulance Services, and the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“Christmas is a reminder that we must come together as a community,” said Rodriguez. “Every child should experience the specialness of Christmas, and I am thankful for the community’s support.”
Rodriguez presented donated toys to approximately 175 children from 55 families throughout the 52nd Assembly District. Toys were also donated to the Ralph Welch Park Community Center in Pomona and to Clearview Church in Chino.
Rodriguez represents the 52nd Assembly District which includes the cities of Chino, Montclair, Ontario, Pomona and portions of unincorporated Fontana.
