“I want to thank the California Strategic Growth Council for their diligent work in determining, and approving, a $35 million Transformative Climate Community Grant for the City of Ontario. This was a community effort to achieve and I am proud that these funds will be going directly to the City for building new bike routes, improving public transportation, constructing affordable housing, and increasing green spaces for all to use.
Every community should be committed to reducing climate pollution and my office is available to assist other cities that wish to apply for these funds in future budgets. This is a win for residents and the environment of the 52nd Assembly District.”
