(Sacramento)- Over 50% of California's population is fully vaccinated, and the state is averaging under 2,000 new daily cases. From shut-down to recovery, California has seen remarkable successes, but also deep inequities. Lack of available tests and scarce access to vaccines in hardest-hit communities were widely documented. On Tuesday the Assembly Committee on Emergency Management will hold its first Informational Hearing since its formation this legislative session.
