(Chino, CA) – Today, Assemblymember Freddie Rodriguez (D – Pomona) hosted his 3rd Annual New Mothers and Families Donation Drive. Residents from all across the 52nd Assembly District donated baby essentials to help young families as we enter the holiday season. Some donated items included baby wipes, new clothes, diapers, and formula.

“Thank you to everyone who donated items to help alleviate some of the pressures the holiday season puts on young families. I also want to thank the San Bernardino Community Action Program and Baby2Baby for their donations and partnership leading up to this event,” stated Assemblymember Rodriguez.

In the spirit of giving, Assemblymember Rodriguez will also be hosting a Turkey Drive next Tuesday, where residents of the 52nd Assembly District (Chino, Pomona, Ontario, Montclair) can receive a free turkey. Tuesday’s event will be on a first-come, first-served basis from 11 am – 1 pm.

Assemblymember Rodriguez will also host a Holiday Open House and Toy Drive on December 3rd from 11 am – 1 pm. This event is an excellent opportunity to put a smile on a child’s face this holiday season by donating a new, unwrapped gift.

“Each item donated today is sure to make a difference in the lives of those receiving such. I again want to thank everyone for their generosity, as this event would not be successful without your donations. I hope to see you all at my upcoming events so we can continue making a difference together,” added Assemblymember Rodriguez.

Assemblymember Rodriguez (Twitter) represents the 53rd Assembly District which includes the cities of Chino, Montclair, Ontario, Pomona, and Upland. He is Chair of the Assembly Committee on Emergency Management.
