(Sacramento) – Assemblymember Freddie Rodriguez (D-Chino), Chair of the Joint Legislative Audit Committee, and several other Assemblymembers spoke at a capitol news conference about the State Auditor’s recent report on the University of California admissions and finance policies. “I’m troubled by the University’s policy to lower admission standards for out-of-state and international students,” said Assemblymember Rodriguez. “This policy has resulted in thousands of less qualified nonresident students being admitted into the UC campus over more qualified in-state students.” Here’s more in this Assembly Access video.
